
Ashley Coffey
Professional Profile
Ashley T. S. Coffey earned her Bachelor of Arts in economics and political science with an emphasis in international studies from Tougaloo College and her Master of Arts in international relations from Syracuse University. She is a doctoral candidate in higher education at the University of Kentucky.
Director Coffey comes to Flagler College with over ten years of professional experience in the field of international education. As a life-long international educator, Coffey is active in several professional and civic organizations. She currently serves as the core education program dean for the teaching, learning, and scholarship workshops and trainer corps member with NAFSA: Association of International Educators. She presents extensively in the field of international education about recruiting underrepresented students to study abroad and integrating international students into their campus and surrounding community. She also facilitates intercultural communication workshops and campus cultural programs that instill global knowledge, skills, and attitudes.
Director Coffey is excited to serve the students, faculty, and staff by promoting internationalization and intercultural learning. She has traveled to 23 countries and is excited to share her experiences.
