Learning Resource Center

Make an appointment with a tutor

The Learning Resource Center is now open for appointments for the spring term. The LRC offers tutoring in:

  • Mathematics
  • Business
  • Accounting
  • Writing
  • Reading
  • Study Skills
  • Stress and Time Management
  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Physics
  • Spanish
  • French
  • Italian

We also offer services for students whose first language is not English (including vocabulary development, and speaking, listening, and writing support).

Students should use Chrome, Firefox, or the Edge browser on a desktop computer to make appointments. TutorTrac doesn’t function well with Internet Explorer, Safari, or mobile devices. If you are having trouble making an appointment, please email for assistance.

Spring 2021 Hours

To make an appointment, navigate to and click the “make an appointment with a tutor” button. Because of social distancing related to the pandemic, all tutoring this term will again take place online, so please download and install Zoom prior to your appointment. Once installed, you can log in with your Flagler username and password. You will receive an email from your tutor five minutes before your session with a personalized link to the Zoom meeting.

We’d also like you to know that our Academic Success Tutors are available to help you manage the transition to online learning. They can help with time management and organization, goal setting, motivation, and avoiding procrastination. Additional help is available in navigating Canvas. For any of these services, select the “Academic Success Center” when you book your appointment.

Help When You Need It

The Learning Resource Center (LRC) exists to help you excel in your course work by offering academic assistance and a quiet place to study.

The Math and Business Lab now offers tutoring in:

  • Accounting
  • Financial management
  • Finance quantitative methods in business
  • Economics

You can make an appointment with a tutor by clicking the button above, and we strongly encourage you to do so as the LRC gets very busy over the course of the term. By making an appointment, you can ensure that the tutor you work with has taken the course for which you’re seeking help!

We have also assembled some resources to help you manage your time and your work with Canvas. You can find them below.

Student tutors and faculty supervisors look forward to your visit. If you are in need of accommodations according to the Americans with Disabilities Act to fully access the Learning Resource Center, please contact Phillip Pownall.
