Faculty and Staff Retirements at Flagler Flagler College said goodbye to some long-running faculty and staff members this year including: Reptiles, Conservation, Biology, and Eco-Poetry with Ben Atkinson Ben Atkinson, Assistant Professor of Natural Sciences, instructs students on topics like ecology, environmental science, sustainability, and evolutionary biology. Students get a taste of local farm-to-table practices “Farm to Table,” a local Sophomore High Impact Practice (FlagSHIP), recently gave Flagler College students an unmatched opportunity to explore the farm-to-table movement through interactions with regional farmers, gardeners, non-profit organizers, and chefs. Flagler College Awarded Platinum Level for 2024 Healthiest Companies Flagler College was recently awarded the Platinum Level Award for 2024 Healthiest Companies by the First Coast Worksite Wellness Council (FCWWC) for creating a culture of health and wellness within the organization. This is Flagler’s first time achieving the Platinum Level. Award recipients were honored at the Annual First Coast Worksite Wellness Conference on May 8, 2024, at the Florida Blue Conference Center.
