Education

The Education program provides a pathway to teaching by guiding our students with the foundation for instruction, classroom management, and organizational techniques to prepare them for a rewarding career in teaching. Flagler College has produced 900+ educators within the local area, resulting in over 60 alumni being awarded "Teacher of the Year."

Admissions

Admission is open to students who have earned an AA degree from a Florida institution or 60 transferable college credits where at least a 'C' was earned. Candidates without either will be required to complete the general requirements for Flagler College.

 

ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS

Tuition & Financial Aid

For the 2023-2024 academic year, the cost per credit hour is $320. Many of our students qualify for financial assistance. Sources include grants, loans, scholarships, Florida Prepaid, Bright Futures, the EASE Grant, etc. 

The Effective Access to Student Education (EASE) Grant is awarded to Florida residents enrolled full-time and those who have not earned a four-year degree. For the 2023 - 2024 academic year, students receive $2,000, which divides between Fall and Spring ($1,000 in Fall and $1,000 in Spring).
