What Can I Do With a Major in Liberal Arts?

Craft your own program while you explore the richness of Western Civilization and prepare for your career or graduate school.

Flagler's major in the liberal arts is designed to introduce you to the rich and challenging intellectual heritage of Western Civilization.

We encourage you to work primarily with faculty from the liberal studies department to develop your own program. Your coursework is created to help you achieve academic excellence and professional expertise in your chosen areas of study.

Our faculty will help equip you with the skills you need to become a responsible citizen and valuable community member.

Your program will also help you prepare for graduate school and for careers in areas as diverse as education, law, business, politics, and ministry.
