Confidential Records

Records and information in Counseling Services are strictly confidential and are separate from all other college records. Any recorded information about your appointments at Counseling Services will not be part of your academic record. The law protects the privacy of all communications between a client and a mental health professional. Information cannot be disclosed to others without your written consent, except in cases of imminent danger to yourself or others, child/dependent care abuse, court order, there is a threat to campus safety, or where otherwise required by law.

Treatment Of Minor

If you are an eligible Flagler College student and are under 18 years of age, you must seek consent for treatment from your parent or legal guardian. As a minor, you are eligible for emergency/crisis-related services at Counseling Services only and in a very limited way.
