Organizations and Awards

Flagler College recognizes student leaders and organizations each year with awards and the Student Leadership Banquet.

The Office of Student Leadership and Engagement honors student leaders and student organizations for their service on the Flagler College campus and within the community. We recognize these valued members of our campus community each year at the Student Leadership Banquet 

Applications

We invite the Flagler campus community to submit applications or nominations for the Student Leadership Banquet. Applications will be available in March. The awards banquet will be held on Monday, April 22.

Award Categories

This award is for an outstanding individual who advanced the mission of their student organization while challenging and encouraging the membership to advance new initiatives and acquire new skills. They also prepared the group for leadership transition and ongoing success. 

The recipient of this award can be nominated by the organization’s faculty advisor, any active member, or by the president themselves.

This award is given to a student organization's advisor or coach. The nominee should demonstrate dedication, availability, and energy in their involvement with their students. 

They should be valued and respected by those students with whom they work and have a strong understanding of the organization's needs and goals.

This award goes to a group of organizations (two or more) that have successfully worked together to sponsor or host an event or program that has benefited the Flagler campus community.

We present this award to an organization that has made a significant effort to further its purpose through its contribution to the Flagler College community. 

This award recognizes the student organization that has demonstrated the Core Values through its activities and programs. 

Furthermore, the organization embodies the Flagler spirit through its commitment to leadership development, collaboration among groups, and programmatic efforts to enhance the quality of campus life at Flagler College.

This award goes to the best and most effective program put on by a club or organization. The program must show collaboration, diversity, development, and leadership.

This award recognizes a club or organization that has put forth the effort to enhance the Flagler community and has maintained strong and consistent operations. 

Only student organizations chartered during that academic year are eligible for this award.
