Scholars from across the world will travel to Flagler College in March for a conference focusing on the early history of the Franciscans in North America and the indigenous peoples they encountered.

Flagler College and the Crisp-Ellert Art Museum will host an exhibition of new sculpture and works on paper by Celeste Roberge. The exhibition, entitled "Ocean Floors," opens to the public on March 7 and will continue through April 19, 2014.

Beginning Feb. 21, the Flagler College Theatre Arts Department will present “Dancing at Lughnasa,” written by Brian Friel and directed by Andrea McCook.

Dr. Bill C. Malone will speak at Flagler College as part of the College's "Ideas and Images" program on March 6. Malone, professor emeritus of history at Tulane University, is widely acknowledged as the nation’s foremost authority in Southern music.
