On Jan. 18, Marlowe will discuss his father, Hugh Marlowe, as part of the St. Augustine Film Festival and will show clips from his father’s films and discuss their content in relation to his father’s career.

J. Michael Miller, founder and director of The Actors Center in New York City will bring his passion to Flagler College on Jan. 29 as part of the college’s “Ideas and Images” series.

In less than a year, Brianna Angelakis has gone from amateur art student to a rising name in the art world. A senior English and fine arts double major with a minor in illustration at Flagler College, Angelakis has recently landed exhibits nationwide.

As Flagler College marks the 125th anniversary of the former Hotel Ponce de Leon, the 2013 Community Lecture Series presents, “The Hotel Ponce de Leon Deconstructed: Building the Future for Modern America.”

Beginning Jan. 17 and running through Jan. 20, the festival will include six comedies, four thrillers, one musical, one very cool dance film, two 3D animated films for kids, two documentaries and a skateboard film.

On Jan. 12, 2013, Flagler College will kick off a yearlong celebration of the 125th anniversary of this National Historic Landmark with an opening day ceremony featuring an orchestra, special tours and Gilded Age re-enactors.
