They filled the active roles of former members Robert Martin and Colonel Robert Hanke, who were elected Trustee Emeriti at the meeting.
“As the Board looks to the future under a shared vision to move Flagler Forward, I’m confident that our newest Trustees will play a critical role in this journey,” Board of Trustees Chair Ambassador John Rood said. “Ms. Radzinski and Ms. Hallet bring invaluable expertise, community ties, and excitement to our Board; I am excited to work alongside them."
TERESA RADZINSKI
Before being appointed to the Board, Teresa Radzinski had already created strong ties with Flagler College as an event sponsor and donor. Radzinski said by joining the Board, she hopes to strengthen these ties further and make her relationship with the College more meaningful and wide-reaching.
“Being a resident of St. Augustine, I appreciate the importance Flagler College has to this community and look forward to building upon its significance,” Radzinski said.
As Managing Director and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Ponte Vedra Beach, Radzinski’s expertise lies in financial advising areas like asset management, tax planning, fiduciary, and credit products.
After receiving her bachelor's degree in economics from The University of St. Catherine in 1986, Radzinski began her financial services career with Wells Fargo and went on to earn her MBA in finance and management from Georgia State University.
She gained over 25 years of experience in investment banking and capital markets. Before joining Bank of America in 2014, Radzinski spent 13 years as Managing Director and Cohead of Financial Institutions, Capital Markets, and financing at Merril Lynch in New York, N.Y.
Through this robust career, Radzinski said she has gained invaluable problem-solving skills and a “relentless work ethic” that she carries into her approach with C-suite executives, business owners, non-profit organizations, and families alike.
As Board Chairperson for the Lightner Museum, Radzinski is already an active member of the St. Augustine community. Radzinski is also a leader in the larger northeast Florida region as a Board Member on the St. John’s Cultural Counsel, the Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens, and the Kearney Center.
Recently, Radzinski was a recipient of a Recognizing Outstanding Women in the Arts (ROWITA) award in part for leading The Lightner Museum’s renovation efforts on its south terrace and garden creating the “Radzinski Family Garden.” This is just one of the multiple philanthropy and service awards Radzinski has received because of her commitment to art and culture in the region.
RYAN HALLET
As a new Trustee, Ryan Hallett said Flagler’s history, culture, and charm have humbled and inspired her.
“I look forward to contributing to Flagler's future as we continue to honor the historic past of the college, navigate the present, and forge an inspiring, enlightening, and innovative future,” Hallet said.
Hallet is the Chief Risk Officer for Black Knight, a Jacksonville-based provider of integrated software, data, and analytics to the mortgage industry. Since joining the company in 2015, Hallet has held multiple leadership roles and said she has focused on fostering “a culture of risk awareness and continuous improvement” among colleagues and stakeholders.
As CRO at Black Knight, Hallet has multiple lines of responsibility, including finetuning and implementing the company’s security and risk management plan, risk identification and mitigation, physical security oversight of Black Knight’s campuses across the U.S. and in India, and support of enterprise business continuity.
Hallet has more than two decades of experience in the information technology industry. Her most recent experience prior to joining Black Knight was working in multiple IT/ security roles with Jacksonville’s Voya Financial.
Before launching her career in 2000 with the Orlando office of Aon Hewitt, a management and consulting company, Hallet earned her bachelor’s degree in Decision Information Sciences from the University of Florida. Later she continued with UF to earn her MA in International Business.
From 2018 to 2020, Hallet brought her expertise to the Information Systems Audit and Control Association as a board member.
Hallet has not gone unnoticed in the industry as the recipient of multiple leadership-based awards and recognitions, including one of Jacksonville Business Journal’s 2017 Women of Influence and one of the Top 50 Women Leaders of Jacksonville by Women We Admire Online magazine.
