Historic St. Augustine Research Institute

Who We Are

The Historic St. Augustine Research Institute (HSARI) is a collaborative project between Flagler College and the University of Florida, with support from the St. Augustine Foundation, Inc. Our mission is to promote, coordinate, and share academic research on the history, archaeology, and historical architecture of St. Augustine, Florida, in support of historic preservation. Our research associates, hailing from various academic institutions, are dedicated to making their findings accessible to preservation efforts and the public. We also serve as a central hub for information and resources, catering to researchers, students, and interested individuals, regardless of their location.

Stay tuned for more information as we build the HSARI experience! For information, please reach out to Joy MacMillian, Director of HSARI, at staugustinefound@bellsouth.net.
