Why did you choose to work at Flagler?
When I was younger, I fell in love with Flagler while visiting my Mother, who worked at the college. I would often join her for lunch, and I was always in awe of the beautiful campus, and what I remembered most from that time, is how excited my Mother was to show off her school and her pride in getting to be a part of it. I couldn’t help but want a little piece of it for myself too.
Favorite St. Augustine activity
Hanging out at all the local coffee spots. Don’t get me wrong, the beach, the shops, and the concerts aren’t too shabby either, but my favorite part about all those experiences is grabbing a cup of coffee with friends the next day and talking about all of our adventures.
Tip(s) for incoming students
Try on many hats. There are so many things to do and to experience at Flagler and you should make use of that. Explore your interests and find your perfect fit, but remember that you can’t wear five hats at once. Don’t overextend yourself!
