Program Admission

Admission to the program is open for all candidates who hold a bachelor’s degree with a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale from a regionally accredited college or university. 

Candidates must submit the following:

  1. Undergraduate Transcripts. Transcripts must show the student earned a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Candidates from all undergraduate fields are welcome to apply.
  2. Letter of Intent. The candidate letter should be a 250- to 500-word statement of purpose. It should clearly describe the candidate's academic and (if relevant) professional background, as well as an explanation of your interest in the field of public administration. The letter should also detail relevant or complimentary professional experience. 
  3. Two Letters of Recommendation from academic (undergraduate) or professional references. These recommendations should highlight your skills and strengths likely to set you up for success in a graduate-level program. References should verify your analytical abilities, communication skills, and your capacity to dissect complex concepts.

Admission Deadlines: 

Spring Start: December 1st.

Fall Start: August 1st.

Tuition & Fees

A $50 application fee is required

The tuition rate for the MPA is $650 per credit hour.
