The SafeSaints program provides safe on-campus transportation options.
Depending on your needs, you can choose from two options:
These services are offered to you 7 days a week from 6 p.m. until 7 a.m. and run only during the academic year.
- Security Ride: security will pick you up in a van or golf cart on campus and transport you to another on-campus location; however, if this is not available;
- Security Walk: a security officer will walk with you from one on-campus location to the next on-campus location.
This service is available for students who have registered with the Office of Services for Students with Disabilities and provides transportation to and from classes, and to residence halls. Students may also use this service if they have approval from Health Services.
Hours of Operation:
Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-6 p.m.
The Office of Campus Safety and Security does not provide transportation to students traveling to off-campus locations and is only used for on-campus locations. However, LiveSafe offers a SafeWalk program where you can request that family and friends “follow” you to your destination through the app.Back To Top
That depends. If you have registered with the Office of Services for Students with Disabilities or approved by Health Services and needed an escort, then yes. If you have not and are requesting a ride to and from classes during the day, then no, security walk/ride offer services from 6 p.m. until 7 a.m. However, please use your LiveSafe app to report any incident or to ask a friend or family member to follow you, using the app, to your destination.Back To Top
