There's been a lot of information sent to you this summer, but we have you covered!
Review the list below for changes that have been made on our campus over the summer, as well as key reminders.
Flagler College has adopted a new attendance policy that is effective for the Fall 2018 semester. This new policy allows faculty independence to establish specific guidelines for attendance in their courses. All faculty will discuss their specific policy with students on the first day of class, emphasizing in particular the relationship between attendance, interaction in the classroom, and evaluation. View the full policy and find answers to frequently asked questions here.Back To Top

Effective August 2018, Flagler College is making changes to certain parking lots, affecting where students, faculty and staff may park. These changes will better distribute parking between our students and our faculty/staff. The initiative also optimizes our parking lots and the campus parking experience overall.
As a reminder, parking on campus requires a valid parking permit. For your permit, please go to: www.flagler.edu/parkingpermit.
Student Residents with parking permits may park in the lots at Cedar Street, the Gymnasium, and the Malaga Street parking garage. In addition, “30 Minute Parking” spaces are available at Lewis House, Cedar Street, and FEC C locations to allow residents to load and unload items from their vehicle.
In addition to those mentioned above, the new parking lot designations are listed below:
- Lewis House – Paved Lot
The paved parking lot behind Lewis House is reserved for faculty and staff Monday – Friday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Students with parking permits may park in the paved lot after 6 p.m., however, all student vehicles must be moved by 7 a.m., when parking enforcement begins. Wheel stops will be painted “Reserved Mon-Fri 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.”
- Lewis House – Dirt Lot
The dirt lot, adjacent to the paved lot, is reserved for commuter students with valid parking permits. Student Residents may not park in the dirt lot at any time. Additionally, commuter students who park in the dirt lot may not leave their vehicle overnight.
- Kenan Hall*
The lot at Kenan Hall is reserved 24/7 for faculty and staff with parking decal numbers #0001 to #0032. Pre-authorized guests are also allowed to park in the lot at Kenan Hall. Additionally, there will be twelve reserved spaces for Admissions guests and two reserved spaces for vendors. Wheel stops will be painted “Reserved 24/7”.
- Wiley Hall
The front parking area at Wiley Hall is reserved for Faculty/Staff 24/7. Wheel stops will be painted “Reserved 24/7”.
- Ancient City Baptist Church - Grass Lot on Carrera Street
The Ancient City Baptist Church grass lot is reserved for commuter students with parking permits Monday – Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Flagler College Security opens the gates at 7 a.m. and locks the gates at 6 p.m. each weekday.

As we dive into a new school year, keep these things in mind.
As a reminder, the Passport Co-Curricular program requires that students attend:
- Three events per semester during Freshman and Sophomore years (under 60-credit hours);
- Two events per semester during Junior and Senior years (over 60-credit hours).”
- Each academic year, one of these events must be diversity related.
