Juried Alumni Exhibition Submission Guidelines

This spring, Flagler College is pleased to host its 2019 Juried Alumni Exhibition to be held at the Crisp-Ellert Art Museum from May 17 to June 14, 2019. To be considered, submitting artists must be graduates of Flagler College, as of December 12, 2018.

Entry Deadline: March 1, 2019

Submissions are due by March 1, 2019. There is no entry fee. All forms of media will be considered, but artworks must be works made in the past three years, installation-ready (with installation instructions where necessary), safe for visitors, and no larger than 72” in any direction. Selected artists will be notified by March 29, 2019. Each artist selected will be required to fill out a loan agreement.

Submissions must be made digitally to www.flagler.edu/alumniart.

Each artist may submit up to five works. All works must be submitted as a jpeg, in the following format to include artist’s last name, the title of work, date created, and medium (example: Degas_StarryNight_1889_oiloncanvas).

In the comments section, please include the title, date, medium and dimensions (H x W x D) of each work submitted. If the work is framed, please provide the framed dimensions. If you are submitting a video, please provide a link and password, if necessary.

In the appropriate field, the artist must also submit their most recent CV as a PDF.

Each submitted image and document should not exceed 1 MB.

If selected, all works must be hand-delivered or shipped by May 10, 2019, to the following address:

About the Juror:

Amy Galpin, Ph.D., is the Chief Curator at the Frost Art Museum at Florida International University in Miami. She is formerly the Curator at the Cornell Fine Arts Museum of Rollins College and Associate Curator, Art of the Americas, at the San Diego Museum of Art. In addition to exhibitions at these institutions she has also curated exhibitions for the National Museum of Mexican Art in Chicago, the Pasadena Museum of California Art, Woman Made Gallery, Chicago, Orlando Science Center, and the Mennello Museum of American Art, Orlando, among other spaces.
