Finger Mullet Film Festival

Throughout the weekend, stop by the Finger Mullet Film Festival in the Crisp-Ellert Art Museum. This year’s festival will include experimental film, video art, sound and live music, including artist talks and panel discussions by local, national, and international time-based creators. Members of the Charter Classes (1972, 1973, 1974, and 1975) as well as members of the reunion classes of 1978, 1983, 1988, 1993, 1998, 2003, 2008, 2013, and 2018 are invited to a complimentary reception honoring their reunion year at the Alumni House.

Saturday, May 20

38th Annual Hugh Shaw Memorial Longboard Classic & Lunch

Details: Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 8:30 am
Location: St. Augustine Beach Pier & Pavilion – 350 A1A Beach Blvd.

The Flagler surf family has gathered for 37 years to celebrate the life of alumnus, Hugh Shaw, who died in 1983. This event is truly a daylong “expression session.” This friendly competition is open to all alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends of all ages. Lunch will be provided at 12:30 p.m. to participants and their families for $10 per person.

Alumni Golf Tournament

Details: Saturday, May 20, 2023, with scheduled tee times
Location: St. Johns County Golf Club

Alumni will meet at the St. Johns County Golf Club at their scheduled tee time. Tee times will be assigned a week prior to the tournament. A box lunch is included in your fee.

Scenic Boat Tour

Details: Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm
Location: St. Augustine Marina – 245 Vilano Road

Head out on the White Pelican to explore local waters! During this family-friendly scenic cruise, you will see the sights of St. Augustine and perhaps even a dolphin or two. This tour will meet at the St. Augustine Marina. Space is limited.

Cocktail Tasting Tours

Details: Saturday, May 22, 2023, at 4:30 pm, 5:00 pm, and 5:30 pm
Location: Meet at the Alumni House – 48 Sevilla Street. The tour will begin promptly at your assigned time.
Attire: Casual. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

Downtown St. Augustine has a lot to offer its visitors, including popular craft cocktails. Join hospitality and tourism associate professor Dr. Zac Cole and his students for a tasting of local spirits, and learn about the components of a great drink. This is a walking tour of local establishments, please wear comfortable shoes. Tours will begin at 4:30 p.m., 5:00 p.m., and 5:30 p.m. Space is limited, all guests must be 21+, and this tour requires an online RSVP. Sunset in the Solarium

Relive this student tradition with your family. Catch a screening of Jaws while enjoying an evening on the lawn of Markland House. A traditional spread of popcorn, soda, and candy will be provided. Guests are encouraged to bring their own picnic blankets and lawn chairs.
