The Flagler surf family has gathered for 36 years to celebrate the life of alumnus, Hugh Shaw, who died in 1983. This event is truly a daylong “expression session.” This friendly competition is open to all alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends of all ages. Lunch will be provided at 12:30 p.m. to participants and their families for $10 per person.

Head out on the boat to explore local waters with associate professor Dr. Ed McGinley. Dr. McGinley is an ecologist who studies the interactions of fish with their environment in the St. Augustine Intracoastal Waterway. During this scenic water tour, he will highlight findings from his research with students, along with commonly seen species and their characteristics/behaviors.
