Parent and Family Orientation
We are eager to get you acquainted with the campus as your student embarks on their new journey. At Roar Up! you will learn how to best support your Flagler College student. You will be provided with helpful information to ensure you and your student are supported throughout their entire experience.

Frequently Asked Questions
Admitted students will receive an email once registration officially opens. An email confirmation will be sent following registration and payment for Roar Up! If you have paid and did not receive a confirmation email, please email orientation@flagler.edu
Back To TopThere is no fee to attend Spring 2023 Roar Up! orientation.
Back To TopYou are allowed to bring up to two family members with you at Roar Up! Please note that your family member will attend different sessions and you will be separated during orientation.
Back To TopOur new Flagler Saint will stay in one of our Residence halls. We encourage family members to make hotel accommodations near the college. Please visit the recommended list of hotels.
Back To TopFlorida weather can be a bit unpredictable, please be prepared for any changes in the weather. The attire for Roar Up! is casual. Things to consider bringing:
- Umbrella or rain jacket
- Pen, paper, or laptop
- Change of clothing
- Comfortable shoes
If you or a family member need certain accommodations during Roar Up! Please email orientation@flagler.edu at least two weeks prior to your session. We will work closely with The Disability Resource Center to ensure your accommodations are met to assist you during your orientation experience.
Back To TopIf you would like to change your session, please email us at orientation@flagler.edu. You will need to include your current session and the new proposed session. Please understand that session dates are first come, first serve.
Back To TopAdmitted and deposited students will receive their class schedules throughout the summer. At orientation, you will meet representatives from the Center for Advising and Core Experience (CACE) office during large group sessions.
Back To TopDuring orientation, students that will be participating in the on-campus experience will be staying in the FEC A & B Towers. This will be a fantastic opportunity to view those Residence Halls however, we will not be able to show other Residences Halls.
Back To TopYes, if you plan to stay overnight in the Residence Hall, you will need to provide your own linen and toiletries.

Jacksonville International Airport
St. Augustine is served by the Jacksonville International Airport (JAX), with daily flights to and from most major cities. The drive to St. Augustine is approximately 60 minutes.
Orlando International Airport
The Orlando International Airport may have better options for travel. The drive to St. Augustine is approximately two hours.
Northeast Florida Regional Airport (UST)
The Northeast Florida Regional Airport is just minutes from downtown St. Augustine and the Flagler College campus. The NFRA has flights from Newark to St. Augustine offered by Elite Airways.
