Ready to start your legacy at Flagler College? In today’s constantly evolving “information society”, a degree in Communication will prepare you for a career in public relations, advertising, sales, radio, television, or any field that involves using the media to address large and diverse audiences. Flagler College - Tallahassee gives you all the tools to turn classroom (and virtual) learning into career success.
Courses in Fall 2020 will be a mix of hybrid and online courses. Online courses will be delivered either synchronous or asynchronous. Students may individually submit request to have all their Fall 2020 courses delivered online.
Through a successful partnership with Tallahassee Community College, Flagler College welcomes applications from students who have earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree from a Florida institution or 60 transferable college credits in which a grade of ‘C’ or better was earned.
Classes for Fall 2020 will start end of August 2020.
Extended Deadline to apply for Fall 2020 is August 15.

Meet Matt Thompson
Matt Thompson is an accomplished entrepreneur and marketing professional, currently serving as the Strategic Communication Program Chair at Flagler College. He is well-known in Tallahassee as the Managing Partner at For The Table Hospitality, which created food and beverage brands such as Madison Social, Township, Centrale, Social Catering & Events, So DOUGH Baking Co., Magda’s, and Happy Motoring. Matt prepares his students for their career after graduation by integrating his years of industry experience into daily classroom discussions for hands-on, pragmatic learning.
Flagler’s Strategic Communications program has allowed me to make connections with businesses and agencies in the community. I have been able to participate in internships to develop my skills and learn about different fields of communication that interest me. As such, I am more prepared, knowledgeable and self-confident in my pursuit of a fulfilling career. The professors at Flagler genuinely care about their students and their support made my time at Flagler an invaluable experience that I am grateful for.
