What You'll Study
A major in marketing provides students with a broad overview of the functional areas of business, emphasizing marketing. Students complete foundation courses in economics, finance, accounting, management, and information systems, while developing essential skills in communication, creative thinking, quantitative analysis, effective selling, and strategic planning.
By completing the marketing curriculum, students understand key marketing concepts and develop an ability to formulate, implement, and evaluate product, pricing, promotion, and distribution strategies. In addition, students automatically earn a minor in Business Administration.
