Minor in Finance
What You'll Study
A finance minor is for you if you're interested in gaining a global understanding of the financial markets, an ability to value portfolio investments, an understanding of how to hedge financial risks, and an ability to make informed financial management decisions.
Under the instruction of faculty who currently work in the industry, you will study financial management, international finance, security analysis, portfolio management, and more.
Courses in Fall 2021 will consist of face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses.

Our finance courses give you first-hand experience. Whether managing a one-million-dollar virtual portfolio or performing macro-economic, industry, and security analyses, you will develop a solid foundation in financial decision-making, analytical skills, and financial problem-solving abilities, thus standing out to employers. It will prepare you to apply your degree to fields such as banking, financial services, corporate finance, investment management, real estate, insurance enterprise, risk management, consulting, among others.
All students can pursue a minor in Finance. Students in the Business Administration and Accounting programs are encouraged to pursue a minor in Finance.
