Fondest memory of Flagler College:
I waited a long time to go to college, so I was the oldest member of the class. I began my dream job as a third-grade teacher when I was in my 50’s. I taught in elementary and middle schools, self-contained classrooms, and sixth grade special education. After a lot of deliberation, I retired in March. My fondest memories of Flagler College are simply my classmates and teachers. We had about 30 students in our class, so we formed incredible bonds. It was an experience I’ll never forget.
Advice for the graduating class:
The best advice I can give to recent graduates is to find a job that you look forward to going to everyday. I loved my job, and I hope you find one where you will find joy.
