In recognition of National Girls and Women in Sports Day, Flagler’s Sport Management program hosted a “Women in Sport” panel last month to celebrate the accomplishments of women working in this competitive industry regionally.

Flagler alumna Katie Cox was recently named among Jacksonville Business Journal’s 20 Women of Influence for her work as Vice President of Marketing at the Gator Bowl, the sixth-oldest college bowl game in the country.

Flagler College and the University of Florida have announced a new bridge program for undergraduate students at Flagler who may be interested in pursuing a graduate degree at UF in the area of Sport Management.

Flagler College held the inaugural meeting of its Hospitality and Tourism Advisory Board on Monday, Feb. 27. The Board will serve as a link between leaders in the hospitality and tourism industry and Flagler’s new major within the Sport Management Department.
