The exhibition will be on view from Thursday, December 9, to Friday, December 10. The opening reception will occur from 5 to 8pm on December 9, and the exhibition will be on view December 10 from 10am to 4pm. -

Flagler President John Delaney Receives Honor from the Pope
Nov 17On September 19, John Delaney, President of Flagler College, was awarded the Papal award, known by its Latin name: The Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice honor. The medal was established by Leo XIII on July 17, 1888, and is awarded in recognition of extraordinary service to The Catholic Church. President Delaney received the award from Bishop Felipe J. Estévez on behalf of Pope Francis at the Basilica Cathedral of St. Augustine. -
Exposing History: Color, Textiles and Taste

First student begins Flagler Fast Track Master's program in Deaf Education
Oct 29The Flagler Fast Track Master's program was started at Flagler College to give undergraduate Deaf Education majors an opportunity to pursue higher education related to their specific field of study. Students can begin taking courses for their Master's degree while in the undergraduate program, saving them both time and money. -

She was touring isolated rental properties with a dwindling phone signal when she looked out onto a river in the middle of rural Kentucky, standing alone on a cliff. As she stood there, she had a thought, anything could happen out here, and no one would know. That little, random thought led her to write her latest novel, Where Secrets Lie. -

Sep 14ST. AUGUSTINE, FL. - Flagler College was once again ranked fourth in U.S. News & World Report’s 2021 Best Colleges guide for the Best Regional Colleges in the South. Flagler was also featured as first for colleges in the south with a strong commitment to Undergraduate Teaching, as well as ninth on the Best Value list in the south regional colleges category and second for “Most Innovative Schools” among southern colleges. Additionally, Flagler was ranked in the “Top Performers on Social Mobility” category, placing 44th. -

Flagler’s Women of Vision Plans Virtual Power of the Purse Fundraiser
Mar 30Flagler College’s Women of Vision Advisory Board has announced that it will sponsor a very special virtual Power of the Purse fundraiser on May 3-6, 2021. The non-virtual version of the event was introduced in 2015 as a silent auction of designer handbags, a raffle and a luncheon featuring a speaker in the Ponce de Leon Grand Dining Hall and continued successfully for the next five years. -
President Joyner recognized by proclamation

Flagler professor to offer insight live on tv
Oct 29On Election Night, Tuesday, Nov. 3, Associate Professor of Political Science and Dean of Academic Life Art Vanden Houten will appear on Action News Jax to lend insight on the election during the station’s live election night coverage. Vanden Houten has already appeared once this election season and will again appear the morning after the election for analysis and breakdown of results.
