St. Augustine’s “40 Under Forty” includes eight from Flagler College

Mar 20, 2019

Student Hannah Pierce has been awarded the Young Non-profit Professional award: "I encourage everyone to go out and create art with a child. You’ll find that it’s a beautiful experience.”

Alumnus Bo Bozard has been awarded the Young Private Sector Professional award: "We do common things, uncommonly well, and when you do things uncommonly well over a period of time, it endures, and when it endures, it becomes defining. And in Steven Thomas' business class at Flagler, we learned that if something defines it becomes a brand. I’m so glad to be a part of a brand that does common things uncommonly well.”

Flagler College is pleased to announce that eight of the “40 Under Forty” honorees are Flagler College Saints, including one student.

Fred “Bo” Bozard IV (Alumnus, Bozard Ford Lincoln)

Adrianne Gillis (Alumna, The Gillis Law Firm)

Jonathan Growick (Alumnus, Statewide Counsel for Quality Assurance for Children’s Legal Services)

Viv Helwig (Alumnus, Vested Metals)

Toni Oliva (Alumna, St. Augustine Youth Services)

Sam Palmer (Alumna, Flagler’s Legacy Historic Tours)

Hannah Pierce (Current student, Limelight Theatre)

Chelsea Reppin (Alumna, St. Augustine Youth Services)

The recognition is a new program implemented by the St. Augustine Record to highlight the area’s young professionals. Nominations were collected from January through February to obtain community input.

The full list of honorees can be viewed on the St. Augustine Record’s website here. The event to recognize the 40 honorees and give out specific awards will take place on Thursday, March 28 at 11:30 a.m. at the Embassy Suites in St. Augustine.
