Saints of Atlanta
Alumni feature series | Atlanta, Georgia
Commonly known for its rich history, bustling international airport, and big-name sports teams- Atlanta, Georgia, is quickly becoming a hub for vibrant city culture and industry innovation. Recently, U.S. News and World Report ranked the southeastern metropolitan city as one of the 25 best places for young professionals to live.
Ahead of the trend, there’s a strong network of Flagler College alumni who have found their way to Atlanta over the years and a growing network of recent graduates who call the city home.
“I have moved around several times with work,” Rusty Harrington, ’91, said. “But I have continued to come back to Atlanta.”
Saints have succeeded in the city regardless of major, background, or passion.
“There are so many opportunities for everyone from medicine, media, and marketing to aviation and IT! You name it, Atlanta has it,” Ake Tayong ’20 said. “A lot of these big-name companies have their brick-and-mortar offices right here in Atlanta.”
Check out how these Flagler College alumni are thriving professionally in Atlanta and why they decided to make the city their home:
