Men’s and women's basketball releases 2019-20 schedule

The Peach Belt Conference Tournament will start with the quarterfinal round on March 4 at the school with the highest seed. The final four will be held at the institution with the highest remaining seed March 7-8. The winner of the championship game will receive the league’s automatic berth to the NCAA Division II Tournament.

Men's Basketball

Flagler College head men’s basketball coach Chad Warner has released the full 28-game schedule for the upcoming 2019-20 season.

The schedule features 14 home games, which includes a regional crossover tournament Nov. 8-9 at Flagler Gymnasium. The classic format tournament consists of Flagler, Lander University, Anderson University, and Southern Wesleyan University. The Saints open the tournament with Southern Wesleyan on Nov. 8 at 3 p.m. Flagler closes the tournament on Nov. 9 with Anderson at 7:30 p.m.

The Saints head to Daytona Beach this year to face old rival Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University on Nov. 12.

Flagler opens Peach Belt Conference play on Dec. 19 at Georgia College. The Saints first home conference game will be Jan. 8 against UNC Pembroke at 7:30 p.m.

The rest of the home schedule looks like this: Paine (Dec. 4), William Jessup (Dec. 16), Georgia Southwestern (Jan. 11), Young Harris (Jan. 20), Lander (Jan. 22), Georgia College (Feb. 1), Augusta (Feb. 8), USC Aiken (Feb. 12), Columbus State (Feb. 15), Clayton State (Feb. 26), and Francis Marion (Feb. 29).

Women's Basketball

Flagler College head women’s basketball coach Mo Smith has released the full 26-game schedule for the upcoming 2019-20 season.

The schedule features 12 home contests at Flagler Gymnasium. Only two of those contests are against non-Peach Belt Conference opponents.

The Saints open the season on the road against Florida Southern College (Nov. 13) and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Nov. 15). Flagler plays its home opener on Nov. 19 against Florida Tech at 5:30 p.m. Another home game against Palm Beach Atlantic University follows the next day at 5:30 p.m.

Flagler opens PBC play on Dec. 19 at Georgia College, where Smith served as its head coach the past nine years. The Saints first home conference game will be Jan. 8 against UNC Pembroke.

The rest of the home slate looks like this: Georgia Southwestern (Jan. 11), Young Harris (Jan. 20), Lander (Jan. 22), Georgia College (Feb. 1), Augusta (Feb. 8), USC Aiken (Feb. 12), Columbus State (Feb. 15), Clayton State (Feb. 26), and Francis Marion (Feb. 29).
