Flagler's Graphic Design students to showcase their senior portfolios
Apr 24, 2017
Thirty Flagler College seniors will be presenting their design portfolios on April 27 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the college’s Ringhaver Student Center, located at 50 Sevilla Street.
Students majoring in Graphic Design assemble their body of work in their final semester. There were two portfolio classes this spring, taught by Assistant Professors Diana Lodi and Natalie Stephenson. The show is an accumulation of their undergraduate career work.
"These students have been working extremely hard this semester,” said Stephenson. “They've designed new pieces and revamped projects from the past few years. This is an exciting night for them to showcase their best work to family, friends, professionals and the local community.”
The annual portfolio show is a design expo that provides a platform for students to present their portfolios. There will be musical entertainment and light refreshments. The event, free and open to the public, will be held in the student center’s Virginia Room, on the second floor.
The portfolios contain interrelated components and campaigns from many areas of design, including branding, advertising, web design, UX/UI, packaging, motion graphics and environmental design, as well as illustration and photography.
Student designers include Courtney Babchyck, Seth Conboy, Nicholas Droleski, Grace Folts, Emily Gilmer, Michael Hanley, Sarah Horgan, Makeda Joseph, Olivia Junghans, Joshua Manning, Michelle Pate, Lauren Powell, Joe Joe Provenza, Colby Riviere, Bryce Tinsley, Rebecca Woods, Kaycie Adams, Victoria Balliew, Brooke Bauer, Connor Bouchard, Kyle Brunson, Kinsey Cox, Emilie Derbins, Erica Lewis, Michael Maiocco, Brendon Meyer, Christopher Moore, Rachel Needham, Chance Powers and Lara Sibson.Tagged As
