Flagler Footnotes talks Census 2020
May 12, 2020
On a recently recorded episode of Flagler Footnotes, a radio talk show on WFCF 88.5FM, guest economist for the Poverty and Statistics Bureau of the U.S. Census John Creamer filled in host Tonya Creamer on Census 2020.
Although Census Day had already passed, the Census 2020 count is still ongoing. A native of St. Johns County, Creamer talked about the high participation rate of the county’s residents and what being counted means for the funding of infrastructure, schools and other municipal needs.
Flagler Footnotes is a program hosted by Tonya Creamer, assistant director of News and Information at Flagler College. During the college closing, the show has run according to availability of guests to record remotely, only airing online.
