What is your major? Do you have any minors?
my major is sports management with a marketing minor.
What are you passionate about? What inspires you?
I am very passionate about lacrosse as well as working out! Staying active allows me to clear my mind from an everchanging world and be with myself and work on myself for an hour or so. My parents are a big inspiration for me as they have worked so hard to give me an amazing life and teach me what it is like to be successful in life. I want to make them proud and support them in the future!
What is one lesson that you learned at Flagler that you will never forget?
Make sure you take opportunities early and put yourself out there. Do not be afraid to try new things and be uncomfortable because that will help you grow. You never know where those opportunities will take you!
If you could share a piece of advice for a new student, what would it be?
A piece of advice I have for a new student is to enjoy every moment of your college life. Yes, getting good grades are really important, but you will never get these four years of your life back. Be open minded and open to meeting new people because you never know, that could be your next best friend.
Our core values are Transformative Learning, Citizenship with Integrity, Thoughtful Stewardship, and Respectful and Inclusion Community. How have you contributed to these Core Values during your time at Flagler?
Being on the women’s lacrosse team, integrity is important as the team and I have to represent Flagler very well in the community as well as on trips. I have also helped out with the athletic department and getting the community involved in Flagler Athletics which has been a good help for the department and school.
What are your plans after you graduate?
I am moving to Daytona Beach, FL to work at NASCAR as an inside sales representative. I am looking forward to starting my sports career, but I will miss St. Augustine and all the memories I have made here. I will definitely be back for some women’s lacrosse games!
