Feb 17, 2017
At the Jan. 31 Education Department Advisory Committee dinner and meeting, Dr. Michele Gregoire was awarded an appreciation plaque by her colleagues, for her dedication over the past 13 years as the Department Chair.
“I was humbled and grateful for my colleagues’ honoring of me, and I was completely surprised” the longtime professor said. “They are the best group of faculty and staff to work with and have been my support throughout these years.”
In attendance at the event were incoming Flagler College President Dr. Joseph Joyner and his wife, Superintendent of St. Johns County Schools Tim Forson and several administrators and teachers in the St. Johns County School District. Flagler’s full-time Education faculty and internship supervisors attended as well. The Advisory Committee, mandated by the Florida Department of Education, meets annually and discusses issues pertinent to the Education Department and programs and offers suggestions for improvement. Dr. Sally Blake will succeed Gregoire as chair on May 1.Tagged As
