We are committed to a healthy, safe, and informed campus community. The charts below explain our key metrics and community health indicators and define our campus alert levels.

Level 4: Very High Alert - Only Essential Operations/Most Restrictive

Offices/Meetings
Only critical employees on campus; offices operate virtually; employees who cannot work virtually and are not considered critical must utilize PTO

Residence Halls
Closed except to students who receive a waiver to remain on campus

Dining Services
Dining facilities closed; any students remaining on campus will have food delivered to residence hall

Classrooms
Instruction is virtual

Student Support Services
All meetings held virtually

Recreational Spaces
Facilities closed; fitness classes held virtually

Library
Facility is closed but all services are offered virtually. Print materials may be checked out through advance arrangements.

Student Center
Building closed except to critical personnel

Events (Students/Employees)
Events must be virtual

Essential Guests
No essential guests on campus except for essential contractor work

Level 3: High Alert - Low-Density Operations

Offices/Meetings
Meetings permitted as long as mitigation efforts are implemented but virtual options must be provided; scattered scheduling for shared office space; offices operate at reduced capacity where density is a concern; employees who cannot work virtually must report to campus or utilize PTO

Residence Halls
Reduced occupancy; Common spaces closed; No visitors; Laundry facilities by scheduled time only

Dining Services
Capacity at 50%; To go meals encouraged; all cups and condiments are single use; employees not permitted to dine

Classrooms
Classroom occupancy reduced to allow for 6’ distance between desks; specialty classes are limited and must have COVID mitigation plans in place

Student Support Services
Appointments/meetings will be held virtually and inperson with an emphasis on virtual. In-person meetings must be scheduled in advance and spaced out to avoid gatherings

Recreational Spaces
Facilities closed; fitness classes held virtually or outside; excursions permitted provided mitigation efforts are followed

Library
All library services are operational but instruction sessions are virtual. Materials are held in a 72- hour quarantine upon return. Staff operates with a staggered schedule.

Student Center
Facility open 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.; lounges closed; recreation equipment not available for use

Events (Students/Employees)
Events permitted; capacity set at 50 people or less; virtual options should be provided and encouraged; food must be served by Aramark or be individually packaged; essential guests must be registered and approved

Events (Registered Visitors)
Events permitted offcampus only with mitigation protocols followed; seating by “household” permitted

Essential Guests
Registered essential guests limited to essential functions during academic session with prior approval; must undergo health screening

Visitors
No visitors permitted on campus; public permitted on campus during academic breaks; campus closed to general public

Travel
Incoming study abroad is cancelled; outgoing study abroad managed on a case-by-case basis; employee travel limited to domestic only with VP approval

Event Rentals
Rentals permitted during academic breaks and holiday campus closures; mitigation efforts must be implemented to include reduced capacity, masking, distancing and food service

Level 2: Moderate Alert Level - Medium Density Operations

Offices/Meetings
Meetings permitted as long as mitigation efforts are implemented; offices operate at normal occupancy; masks and distancing must be in place if offices are shared; expectation employees are on campus and attend meetings in person

Residence Halls
Reduced occupancy; Common spaces open; No visitors

Dining Services
Capacity at 50%; selfservice stations closed; condiment and drink stations open with increased cleaning

Classrooms
Classroom occupancy reduced to allow for 6’ distance between desks; specialty classes may resume if COVID mitigation plans are in place

Student Support Services
Appointments/meetings will be held virtually and in-person

Recreational Spaces
Facilities open – appointments required; fitness classes scheduled but with distancing and masks; excursions offered with mitigation efforts

Library
All library services are operational but encourage virtual instruction sessions. Materials are held in a 24-hour quarantine upon return.

Student Center
Facility open 7 a.m. – 11 p.m.; lounges open but furniture placed 6’ apart; recreation equipment available for use

Events permitted; capacity based on social distancing configurations; food must be served by Aramark or be individually packaged; seating by “household” permitted; essential guests must be registered

Events (Registered Visitors)
Events permitted; capacity based on social distancing configurations; mitigation plan must be approved and protocols must be followed; seating by “household” permitted; event facilities limited to CEAM, AUD, Gym, Athletics Complex

Essential Guests
Registered essential guests may participate in essential functions on campus; must undergo health screening; may attend events held in CEAM, AUD, Gym and Athletics Complex during the academic year, provided there is capacity and an approved mitigation plan is on file

Visitors
Registered visitors may attend events held in CEAM, AUD, Gym and Athletics Complex during the academic year, provided there is capacity and an approved mitigation plan is on file; visitors must undergo health screening; Campus closed to general public

Travel
General study abroad may resume; employees may travel internationally and domestically with VP approval

Event Rentals
Rentals permitted during academic breaks and holiday campus closures; mitigation efforts must be implemented to include reduced capacity, masking, distancing and food service
