A Spring Showcase of Graphic Design Portfolios
May 22, 2021
The Department of Visual & Performing Arts is excited to release an online collection of design portfolios by graduating seniors who majored in Graphic Design at Flagler College.
The website, created in lieu of a Graphic Design Portfolio Show this spring, also features work by Fine Art seniors. For each of the designers, you can see a sample of their projects and click to view their online portfolio and LinkedIn profile.
The senior portfolio is an accumulation of each student’s undergraduate career. The portfolios include projects from many areas of design — branding, advertising, web design, UX/UI, motion graphics, packaging, and environmental design, as well as illustration and photography.
There were two portfolio classes this spring, taught by Chris Smith and Joseph Fioramonti. Smith’s class met on campus, whereas Fioramonti’s section was online.
“In spite of the challenges of working during the limitations of COVID-19, the work done by the 2021 Graphic Design classes has been very strong – a true testament to the dedication of the students and faculty at Flagler College,” Smith said.
Designers include: Alice Araujo, Bryce Banken, Peyton Beasley, Ben Becker, Aaron Beede, Trent Bortz, Faith Castro, Noah Cook, Annie Fox, Ryan Frederick, Maria Gamino, Chayce Gunderson, Stephanie Harlow, Jordan Kenefick, Ethan Mansanet, Hannah Mattaliano, Timaree McKenny, Korey Nelson, Alex Sandlin, Bridie Sheckells, Maia Stanton, Lauren Thomas, Jon’Quasia Wilson and Emily Zink
Also announced were the recipients of the Graphic Design Portfolio Awards:
- Ben Becker – Best of Show
- Annie Fox – Gold Award
- Bridie Sheckells – Gold Award
- Lauren Thomas – Silver Award
- Jordan Kenefick – Silver Award
