Mundy, Women's Cross Country land spot at nationals for first time in NCAA

For the first time in the NCAA era, the women’s cross country team, and the top runner for the men’s team, qualified for a national championship.
The women’s team finished second at the Southeast Regional to secure a trip to November’s NCAA Division II National Championships. Freshman Sara Mund was Flagler’s top finisher in 167th place. Flagler finished 32nd as a team at the championship.
Junior Corey Mundy represented the men’s team after finishing sixth at the regional. He finished first in the Peach Belt Conference Championships and broke Flagler’s 8K record by 23 seconds with a time of 24:29.75.Tagged As
