    SIFE takes second place

    The Flagler College Students In Free Enterprise team (SIFE) finished second at the 2012 SIFE USA National Exposition in May, losing out to Belmont University. The other final four teams included Brigham Young University-Hawaii and Valdosta State University.

    • The 2012 Flagler College Alumni Weekend hosted a 40th Reunion of the Class of 1972, the first class to graduate from Flagler College. They were joined by members of the Charter Classes of 1973, 1974 and 1975. • More than $13.2 million has been raised since 2010 toward “Focused on the Future, the Campaign for Flagler College.” Now in its third year, efforts will continue over the next several years to raise funds for projected needs of the College, including endowment, capital projects and annual giving. The Annual Fund will be an important component with rebranding underway to launch the Flagler Fund for unrestricted support.

    Flagler College 50th Anniversary Campaign

    Flagler College completed the planning phase of its 50th Anniversary Campaign and will spend the next 24 months in an organization phase of the campaign, to be followed by the leadership gift phase in 2014 and the public phase in 2016. The College will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2018.

    Volleyball, soccer return to winning ways in 2011

    Volleyball  The Flagler College volleyball team finished the season ranked No. 14 in the final American Volleyball Coaches Association’s (AVCA) Division II Top 25 poll. The ranking was the highest ever achieved by the program. Flagler wrapped up its season with a 31-7 record and an appearance in the elite eight at the NCAA Division II Women’s Volleyball National Tournament before falling to Cal State San Bernardino.
