5 Steps to Apply
STEP 1: Choose ONE of the Following Ways to Apply
STEP 2: Self-Report High School Grades
Flagler College utilizes a self-reporting system to allow students to input their own high school courses and grades. Please have your transcript in front of you before beginning this process.
Please note: We cannot accept SSAR codes. Applicants can only attach their SSAR using a link provided in an email sent by the Office of Admissions, no later than one week after submitting the application. Keep an eye on your inbox!

STEP 3: Submit an Academic Recommendation
The required recommendation letter must be written by someone that knows you in an academic setting (guidance counselor or teacher).
School officials will receive a link to submit their recommendations electronically, but those writing letters of recommendation may also email them to email@example.com or their respective admissions counselor.
If applying via the Common Application, please submit required documents through the Common Application site.
STEP 4: Submit Official Test Scores (Optional)Flagler College strives to select students who display strong personal values, excellent citizenship, self-advocacy, and a commitment to the pursuit of knowledge above standardized testing. In light of this, please note the submission of test scores is optional (unless you are homeschooled). If you feel as though you meet our expectations as a driven student with personal integrity, but know your scores do not adequately reflect your abilities, you may opt out of this section of the application. If, on the other hand, you think your standardized test results accurately reflect your potential, test scores from SAT and ACT can be submitted using the following school codes:
SAT – 5235 ACT - 0772
STEP 5 : Complete the Essay
The essay question differs between the Flagler application and The Common Application. You will be able to view the essay as soon as you start the application process.
This is your chance to truly let us know who you are and what you hope to gain from the Flagler College experience.
Flagler’s essay prompt: Flagler College strives to admit students who will excel and reach their full potential during their college experience. Please provide an essay of at least 250 words that describes a single event or a single theme that defines your character and/or your aspirations.
