Why did you choose to work at Flagler?
I worked in the Financial Aid Office as a work-study student for 1.5 years then stayed as a full-time employee when the opportunity arose. I’ve been here ever since.

Favorite St. Augustine activity
Flagler Creates has become one of my favorite St. Augustine events. It’s an annual festival that allows Flagler College students, employees and alumni to showcase their creativity and sell handmade crafts and other handmade items. It’s held each year in the Ringhaver Student Center on the same day as the Nights of Lights, which makes it a great day to visit downtown St. Augustine.
Tip(s) for students applying for financial aid
Spend time applying for private scholarships— the more requirements a scholarship has and the longer the application takes to complete, the fewer students who will apply for it. Earning just one $500 scholarship is worth over 60 hours of your time if you work a minimum wage job.
Tip(s) for parents applying for financial aid
Plan on filing your federal income tax returns as soon as you can, and complete the FAFSA as early as possible. Some financial aid funds can run out, so applying early allows your student to receive all of the financial aid that they are eligible to receive.
