Fine Arts
We are looking for driven, creative, freethinking students who want to explore their own artistic potential. If that sounds like you, you are in the right place. Fine Art faculty are here to help nurture your artistic growth. We will build your foundation through traditional modes of study such as drawing, painting, and sculpture, with the freedom to invent new forms of visual and conceptual meaning in advanced courses.
What You'll Study
Our Fine Arts program involves formally rigorous and conceptually challenging studio investigations. Areas of studio concentration include drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking and more. You will learn from professors who are professional artists who will challenge you to explore your own creative visions.
Practical Experience
Our program emphasizes creative problem solving and the self-directed creation of visual works of art. Our challenging studio courses prepare you to conceptualize, create, and exhibit your unique point of view in galleries, museums, and to continue your research in a graduate program.
What's Next?
At the end of your senior year, you will exhibit your work in the College's well-attended Senior Portfolio Show at the Crisp-Ellert Art Museum.
