Join the selective Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) program and you will be with students who value courage and are driven to find their own artistic meaning. Take classes with professors who are not only teachers, but artists and craftspeople in their own fields. As a faculty, we are committed to challenging the next generation of artists find their voice, make exceptional objects, and generate new art experiences in a variety of media.
What You'll Study
You will take 13 advanced elective studio hours along with your required courses. The BFA program will challenge you to develop your practice by refining aesthetic solutions, taking part in research, and sharpening your analytical skills.
Practical Experience
The BFA program is a competitive extension of the BA Fine Art program. You must apply for admission to enter the program and acceptance is based on the quality of your portfolio, grades and faculty recommendations. The variety of courses offered will help expand your creative research in preparation for careers in the fields of art and/or graduate studies.
What's Next?
At the end of the program you will take part in a senior portfolio exhibition, where you will present and defend your work to the College community.
