Anthropology
Anthropology is the systematic study of humanity from a holistic, cross-cultural, and historical perspective. It draws insights from the social sciences, the humanities, and the biological sciences.
What You'll Study
The program, because of its flexibility, allows you to pursue your interest in a particular aspect of anthropology, such as archaeology or cultural anthropology. You can also customize your minor to best complement your major.
Each subfield of anthropology applies theories, employs systematic research methodologies, formulates and tests hypotheses, and develops extensive sets of data regarding the human condition. You'll apply these methods and ideas to modern problems and life in the past.
What's Next?
Majoring or minoring in anthropology promotes greater inter-cultural understanding.
