Elementary Education

We’re not just preparing you to teach, we're preparing you to support the world’s children. Once you complete you coursework and pass the FTCE exams, you'll be eligible to obtain a Florida certification to teach grades K-6, as well as endorsements in ESOL & Reading.

What You'll Study

The Flagler College Elementary Education program provides state-of-the-art curriculum paired with hands-on experiences and opportunities to engage in real classrooms. All Elementary Education majors at Flagler College are trained to give instruction in elementary areas including reading, language arts, mathematics, social studies and science.
