Strategic Communication

Organizations have stories to tell and they need professionals to help them do it. You'll prepare for a career helping others build their images, maintain their relationships, and sometimes even manage crises.

What You'll Learn

The barrier between public relations and advertising is smaller than ever. Industry professionals will require you to do both advertising and public relations. You'll learn how to research, plan, write, execute, and evaluate communication plans across many communication channels and contexts.

Practical Experience

This major will prepare you to understand and work in a variety of mediated environments, including television, radio, internet-based technologies, public relations, advertising, promotions, film, and media sales.
