The
Student Government Association
(SGA) is formed by approximately
60 student members and is advised
by the Dean of Student
Services. Through its hard
work and dedication, the SGA
is able to serve both Flagler
College and the St. Augustine
community.
SGA
members are divided into
three very distinct groups:
the Executive Board, the
Leadership Team and the General
Membership. Each group plays
an important role in making
SGA effective.
The
Executive Board is composed
of four student-elected officers.
They fill the positions of
President, Vice-President,
Secretary, and Treasurer.
The
Leadership Team is composed
of the 1st & 2nd Social Chairpersons,
the 1st & 2nd Publicity Chairpersons,
1st & 2nd Community Service Chairpersons,
and 1st & 2nd Student Concerns Chairpersons.
The
General Membership is composed
of Flagler students who are
invited to become members
of any committee and have
voting privileges. A General
Member may also be called
upon to form a Special
Committee as
appointed by the Executive
Board.
In addition to SGA's weekly meetings, the members of the
Executive Board and Leadership Team also hold Office Hours
to better serve the students. The SGA office is located
in the Lions Lair. |
