  • Ponce de Leon Hall

The main building of the old hotel is now used primarily as a residence hall for women. A masterpiece of Spanish Renaissance Revival architecture originally built as a luxury hotel in 1888, houses approximately 480 female students and is the central building on campus. When the hotel was converted into residence halls, each dorm room kept its unique qualities. Rooms range in size from single room, which are quite uncommon, double, triple, and even quadruple occupancy. The number of people per room is quite random, although roommates are matched up based on student housing forms that help pair up students with similar interests.

Henry Flagler designed his hotel with the guest in mind, and actually built every room different from one another so that guests would have a different experience every time he or she came back to stay. This incredible attention to detail is now something our female residents can enjoy every day.

  • F.E.C. Towers

With the addition of the old Railway Buildings, the College enhanced the historic significance of its campus. The three towers, constructed in 1922, 1923, and 1926, served as the headquarters for the Florida East Coast Railway. Henry Flagler developed the company to link his chain of luxury hotels, including the Hotel Ponce de Leon, which extended from Jacksonville to Key West. All the towers have undergone recent renovations and now serve as residence halls for upperclassmen, both male and female. FEC houses about 130 females and 130 males.

  • Abare Hall

Abare Hall, part of Flagler College's largest-ever construction project, opened its doors in August 2017. Named after retired President Dr. William T. Abare Jr., the new residence hall sits on the west side of the college’s existing FEC Residence Halls on the banks of St. Augustine’s San Sebastian River. It houses 159 students in 75 suites. Rooms in Abare Hall are available only to upperclassmen.
