Athletics & Recreation

Flagler Athletics strives for excellence in sports, in the classroom and in the community.

Flagler College is a proud member of the National Collegiate Athletics Association, Division II, and the Peach Belt Conference. In the first season of competition in the Peach Belt (2009-10), Flagler captured conference titles in volleyball, men’s soccer and women’s golf. Flagler has advanced to the NCAA Division II national championships in volleyball, softball, men’s and women’s cross-country, men’s soccer and softball.

On-campus athletic facilities include the Flagler Gymnasium, which is home to the Saints’ basketball and volleyball teams, and houses the weight room facility and coaches' offices. The Flagler Tennis Center is a six-court facility that has played host to several conference tournaments and is the home of the Saints’ nationally recognized tennis teams.

Less than two miles from campus is the Flagler Field Complex, which includes the baseball, softball and soccer fields. The newest component to the Flagler Field Complex is the Flagler Field Locker Room Facility, which has four locker rooms and a state-of-the-art training room. The golf teams practice at two outstanding courses: The Palencia Club and Slammer and Squire Course at the World Golf Village.
