Q: Why Flagler?

A: It has a great location and atmosphere. Flagler was a top prospect because of its academic and athletic programs and because of the attention you get with small classroom settings. I felt this would be a great place to be. I also get to represent my country and my family here — on and off the field.

Q: How was your adjustment coming from home to Flagler?

A: I’d been in the states before and traveled a lot and so the transition was easier than expected. It did take a little adjustment but it didn’t take too long to become acquainted with the friendly community and the small town. Being surrounded by great teammates, teachers and peers makes it a lot easier to get through the initial nerves.

A: Being a part of the soccer team is fun in itself — there’s a great sense of camaraderie, traveling around the region with one common goal. Having that community and support from your teammates affects your performance on the pitch and in the classroom. In our off time, we usually head to the beach or play mini-golf.

Q: Do you have a secret study spot?

A: Study spot yes, secret not so much. The library is my go-to spot.

Q: What’s your dream job?

A: I would like to be in any field of business and technology.

Q: What is your favorite on-campus office to visit?

A: Career Services and College Relations — always helpful and there when you need them.
