First Coast Chapter
The annual Nights of Lights Reception will take place at Markland House on Saturday, November 21, 2009, at 6:30 pm. All alumni and their families are invited to join us for complimentary hot chocolate, coffee, punch and sweet treats. Reservations are encouraged. The Eleventh Annual First Coast Wine Tasting Event will be held Friday, February 12, 2010. Mark your calendars now. Invitations will be mailed after the New Year.
Please let the alumni office know if you will be running the Gate River Run in Jacksonville on Saturday, March 13, 2010. If there is enough interest, the alumni association will host a modest breakfast, at the stadium, after the run.

It is not too early to mark your calendars for Alumni Weekend 2010! The Athletic Hall of Fame kicks off the weekend on Thursday, April 29, 2010. We will end the weekend with Sunday morning breakfast with Dr. Abare on May 2, 2010. Watch for new alumni weekend opportunities. Information will be mailed in early January and all information will be posted on the Flagler website.
NOW is a great time to nominate an outstanding alumna/alumnus for one of our highest alumni awards. First Coast Networking
First Coast alumni gathered at alum Andy Brown’s store, Creative Home Furnishings, for a networking opportunity on Thursday, August 6, 2009. Food and drink were complimentary. Networking activities were enjoyed by everyone. Watch for the next opportunity in October. Networking events are email invitation only. Making a SPLASH in Chesapeake!
We visited the Chesapeake Alumni Chapter with a wonderful family event including dinner, a boat tour of the national monuments and ice cream! We got a little wet, but had a great time with those who came out with us!

Flagler Alumni Gather in London

On Friday, July 10, Flagler College Alumni Relations hosted their first international alumni event in London. It was a delight to meet with alumni over a long lunch at Babylon restaurant.
