A Rewarding Investment
A Flagler education offers excellent value.
With a cost that is less than half that of comparable private colleges and on par with most large public universities, a Flagler education is rated as offering among the best values in the country. And it is an investment that yields valuable results. Not only do the majority of Flagler students graduate in four years (compared to an average of 4.8 to 5.1 years at Florida’s public universities), more than 87 percent of them begin careers or are admitted to graduate programs in their fields within six months of graduation.
But a college education is still a major investment.
At Flagler College, we realize that no matter how much value a college offers, it is still a significant investment for any family. And we not only work hard to keep our costs low, but Flagler also offers a comprehensive financial aid program to assist students who have established financial need or met the merit requirements of specific awards. In fact, more than 85 percent of Flagler students receive financial aid in one form or another—including grants, scholarships, low-interest loans, and part-time employment either on our campus or at the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind. In addition, most Flagler students who are residents of Florida also qualify for Florida Bright Futures Scholarships that cover 41 to 48 percent of their tuition costs when added to the Florida Resident Access Grants (FRAG).
