Sprint 2013 Portfolio Exhibition

The Crisp-Ellert Art Museum is pleased to present our semi-annual exhibition of works by Flagler College’s senior B.F.A. and B.A. students. The exhibition will open with a reception on Thursday, April 18 from 5 until 9pm. It will be on view on Friday, April 19 from 10am until 4pm and on Saturday, November 8 from 11am until 2pm.

06/07/2012 - Bush, Armold and Sgromolo taken in MLB draft

Flagler College’s Garrett Bush, Jonathan Armold, and John Sgromolo were each selected in the 2012 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft on Wednesday. Flagler has never had more than two players selected in one draft in the history of the program.

As part of Flagler College’s Study Abroad program, Dr. Michael Butler and Dr. Wayne Riggs are currently leading 35 students on a two-week experience through Britain and Ireland.

Nearly 80 women gathered at Markland House on the Flagler College campus on May 8 dressed in their best spring attire to take part in Mrs. Abare’s Spring Tea, an annual event hosted by Susan Abare to celebrate the women who support Flagler College.

Flagler College has won a 2012 Florida Trust for Historic Preservation award for Outstanding Achievement in Adaptive Use for its renovation of the Florida East Coast Railroad buildings.

The Gargoyle, Flagler College’s online student newspaper, has won four awards in the 2012 Florida College Press Association “Best Under the Sun” contest.
