The conference, held Nov. 7-10 at Flagler College in St. Augustine, will offer panels, readings, workshops and an independent book fair, all focused around the unique literary landscape of historic and contemporary Florida.

Dr. Alan Woolfolk, Vice President of Academic Affairs for Flagler College announced the award of a $25,000 Community Enrichment grant from the Joy McCann Foundation.

|10/08/2013 - Handwritten; hand-illuminated St. John's Bible on exhibit at Flagler
With the help of the Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine, Flagler has acquired two volumes of the Heritage Edition St. John's Bible for an entire year. Two additional volumes will also be on display Oct. 10-13 in the Proctor Library at the college.

Three senior students from the communications department at Flagler College were invited to present their research at the Popular/American Culture Association in the South Academic Conference on Oct. 3 in Savannah, Ga.
